Royal Shine Car Wash Terms & Conditions

Online End User License Agreement

Royal Shine Car Wash and the owner of the car wash, Shawnee Car Wash Investors, LLC, a Kansas limited liability company (the “Operator”) from whom you (the “Subscriber”) will be purchasing your Royal Shine Car Wash Monthly Unlimited Wash Subscription (the “Subscription”), require that you agree to the following end user license agreement (the “Agreement”):

  • The Subscription fee will be an automatic and recurring monthly charge to the subscriber’s billing card. The Subscription fee will be charged on the date it was purchased or from the anniversary date that a promotional code has been applied. The Subscription will automatically renew and charge each month on the renewal date.
  • By entering your vehicle information and selecting a wash subscription, you are making a purchase and registering for an automatic and recurring monthly membership. Entering a promotional code will also register you for an automatic and recurring monthly membership.
  • Subscribers may deactivate the subscription through the Royal Shine Car Wash mobile app any time and continue to wash through the subscription end date. To deactivate by email or phone, please contact this Operator. If deactivating by email or phone, please allow a minimum of five business days, prior to the next renewal, to effectively deactivate your subscription.   • To be eligible for a full refund you must contact Royal Shine Car Wash within 45 days of your monthly subscription charge. There are no refunds for lack of use during the subscription term or for partial months.
  • Subscribers may change their contact and billing information through the Royal Shine Car Wash mobile app at any time. It is the Subscriber’s responsibility to provide and maintain a valid email address and phone number on file in their Royal Shine Car Wash mobile app to receive any changes or updates to the Subscription or this agreement.
  • If you need to change your license plate information, please contact the Operator or email .
  • In the event Royal Shine Car Wash is unable to receive payment from a Subscriber for reasons such as card expiration, non-sufficient funds, or change in information, the Subscriber’s Subscription will be halted immediately, and the Subscriber will not be able to wash their vehicle. If Royal Shine Car Wash is able to collect payment for your subscription within 10 days after being halted, your subscription will continue with your current subscription period. If Royal Shine Car Wash is not able to collect payment for your subscription after 10 days from the halted date, your account will be automatically deactivated. If your account deactivates, it must be reactivated at the current retail pricing.
  • The Operator reserves the right to close Royal Shine Car Wash due to inclement weather, major holidays, equipment maintenance and wash site enhancements.
  • Royal Shine Car Wash may increase monthly rates with notice posted by the Operator or Royal Shine Car Wash at least 30 days in advance.
  • Royal Shine Car Wash reserves the right to change the payment amount to include tax at any time, or to reflect Tax law changes.
  • Each Subscription is intended for a single vehicle only. Fraudulent use of a Subscription will result in immediate termination of the Subscription plan. Multiple Subscriptions may be included in the same Account.
  • This Agreement is subject to change without notice.
  • Prices and participation may vary. Subscriptions may be redeemable.
  • Promotional Subscriptions must be deactivated prior to the monthly renewal in order to prevent an automatic renewal and avoid a charge.
  • The Subscription cannot be combined with any other programs or discounts, including but not limited to, pre-paid washes, vouchers, house accounts or coupons. It also does not apply to special event pricing.
  • Promotional Subscriptions may be limited.  Pricing and participation may vary.

There will be a recurring monthly charge on your billing card for your Subscription. By clicking “Purchase” during the finalization process of the Subscription registration, you represent to the Operator and Royal Shine Car Wash that you understand and agree to this Agreement.

Please note the following instructions which detail the steps necessary to make changes to your account using the Royal Shine Car Wash app:

Reactivate: Pull up your app: 1) Tap the red icon on the right-hand corner. 2) Tap “My Cars” 3) Tap “Manage Subscription” on the vehicle you wish to reactivate. 4) Tap “Wash Plan” 5) Select the wash package you would like and tap “OK”

Add New Card: Pull up your app: 1) Tap the red icon on the right-hand corner 2) Tap “Billing” 3) Tap “Add credit card” 4) Enter your billing information and tap “Save card”

Edit Card: Pull up your app: 1) Tap the red icon on the right-hand corner 2) Tap “Billing” 3) Tap “Edit” 4) Enter your billing information and tap “Save card”

Add a Car: Pull up your app: 1) Tap the red icon on the top right-hand corner. 2) Tap “My Cars” 3) Tap “+ Add a vehicle” at the bottom of the screen 4) Enter your vehicle information and tap “Next” 5) Tap “Wash Plan” and select the plan you prefer followed by “OK” 6) Review your selection and if all looks correct, tap “Done”

Upgrade or Downgrade: Pull up your app: 1) Tap the red icon on the top right-hand corner 2) Tap “My Cars” 3) Tap “Manage Subscription” 4) Tap “Wash Plan” 5) Tap on the new wash plan you would like to have and tap “Confirm”

Transfer a Wash Subscription to a New Plate: Pull up your app: 1) Tap the red icon on the top right-hand corner 2) Tap “My Cars” 3) Tap “Manage Subscription” of the vehicle you no longer have 4) Scroll to the bottom of the screen and tap “Transfer” 5) Tap “Add Vehicle” 6) Add in the new vehicle and tap “Done”

Keep in mind, changing your plan takes effect immediately. If you are downgrading, we recommend you do not make the change until the day before your renewal, so that you may take advantage of the full month you have paid for. If you are upgrading, you will immediately receive a prorated charge.

Gift Card Terms and Conditions

Description of Services

Royal Shine Car Wash offers consumers the opportunity to purchase gift cards at Royal Shine Car Wash and online. After purchase, Royal Shine Car Wash may physically give the Gift Card to the designated recipient (if the Gift Card is a physical card) or via email if the Gift Card is electronic (“E-Gift Cards”), all as designated by the consumer in the order. Your use or purchase of a Physical Card or an E-Gift Card (collectively, the “Gift Cards”) indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions applicable to all Gift Cards. Royal Shine Car Wash may, from time to time, change these Terms and Conditions and you agree that any such changes or modifications shall apply to you and to any Gift Cards you purchase.

Physical Cards are presented to designated recipients at the time of purchase.

Terms and Conditions

Your participation in the Royal Shine Car Wash Gift Card program, Gift Certificate, or other store value product (collectively, “Gift Cards”) indicates your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. Except as otherwise provided by law, these Terms and Conditions apply to all Gift Cards, whether purchased at Royal Shine Car Wash, online, or received from third parties.

  1. Except as otherwise stated below, gift cards can be used at Royal Shine Car Wash and online.
  2. Prices are subject to taxes.
  3. Maintenance, dormancy, or service fees do not apply to balances on gift cards.
  4. Subject to applicable law, your gift card will no longer work when the remaining value is equal to $0 or if it has not been used five years after the date of purchase. If funds still remain on the gift card after the valid thru date, please contact or refer back to Royal Shine Car Wash.
  5. Hold your gift cards securely and write down your gift card number in a safe place. Gift cards that are lost or stolen will ONLY be replaced, up to the value remaining, with satisfactory proof of purchase AND the Gift Card number. Email  in order to have a lost or stolen gift card replaced.
  6. Gift Cards are not redeemable for cash, except to the extent required by law.
  7. We reserve the right to prohibit the purchase of Gift Cards with other Gift Cards.
  8. From time to time, you may be awarded with or receive “rewards,” “promotional gift cards”, “credits”, “vouchers”, “Groupons” or similar physical or electronic gift cards (collectively, “Promotional Cards”). As a general matter, these Promotional Cards shall have the same terms and conditions as the Gift Cards described here, however, they may have expiration dates, delayed activation dates or may be subject to additional restrictions or exemptions as provided on the Promotional Cards themselves or any packaging or other written materials that accompany such Promotional Cards or any applicable law.
  9. Purchase amounts that exceed the value of the tendered Gift Card will require an additional payment for the balance due.
  10. Gift Cards purchased online are delivered separately from other purchases.
  11. Gift cards will not be redeemed if the card number is invalid or cannot be identified within Royal Shine Car Wash systems.
  12. Royal Shine Car Wash is the issuer of all gift cards. Royal Shine Car Wash and its ownership, Shawnee Car Wash Investors, LLC, a Kansas limited liability company, are organized and domiciled in Kansas, and the purchase and sale of gift cards issued by Royal Shine Car Wash shall be deemed to be in Kansas and shall be subject to the laws and regulations of Michigan.
  13. Royal Shine Car Wash reserves the right to change the terms of the Royal Shine Car Wash Gift Card program at any time or to contract with another party to administer this program.
  14. In the event that the gift card system may become temporarily inoperative, you may be unable to obtain information about the balance on your gift card and gift card transactions or use your gift card to pay for purchases. Please notify us if you have any problems using your gift card. You agree that none of Royal Shine Car Wash, Shawnee Car Wash Investors, LLCand any of their affiliates is responsible for any interruption of service or the quality, safety, legality, or any other aspect of any goods or services purchased by you with your gift card.
  15. Royal Shine Car Wash may amend or assign this agreement at any time without notice.

Refund Policy

  1. Requests for refunds must be initiated within 30 days from the date on which the order for the related Gift Card was placed. Any refund request following the 30-day refund period will be denied by Royal Shine Car Wash.
  2. Refunds may only be requested prior to the use of the Gift Card, in whole or in part. Once a Gift Card is used to make a purchase, any refund request will be denied, even if there is still a balance on the Gift Card.
  3. Refunds may be requested by the Gift Card purchaser or recipient by sending an email request to: . Each refund request (each, a “Refund Request”) must include the following information:
    1. The receipt of purchase;
    2. The name of the Gift Card purchaser;
    3. The date of purchase;
    4. The order number
    5. The name and address (which may be an email address) of the recipient; and
    6. Contact information for the purchaser, including email address and contact phone number.
  4. Upon receipt of a Refund Request, Royal Shine Car Wash will promptly verify that the Gift Card has not been used. Gift Cards that have been used in whole or in part are not eligible for a full or partial refund.
  5. Upon receipt of a Gift Card Refund Request, and verification that the Gift Card to which the Refund Request relates is eligible for a refund, Royal Shine Car Wash will make a determination regarding the Gift Card and will take one of the following actions:
    1. Deny a Refund Request and send the consumer an email that details why the refund request is denied; or
    2. Approve a refund and send the consumer an email that details the amount of the refund.
  6. Any refund amount that is approved will be credited to the original credit card used to purchase the Gift Card. If purchase was made in cash, you must refer back to the original location that you purchased your gift card in order to receive your cash refund. All refunds will be made within 60 days of the date on which the Refund Request was received.
  7. If for any reason a refund cannot be credited to the original credit card, Royal Shine Car Wash will issue to the purchaser a check for the amount of the refund approved, less a $10 check writing and processing fee. The check will be processed and mailed to the consumer within 90 days of the Refund Request at the address specified by the consumer in its Refund Request.

Monthly Subscriber Agreement

By using the Royal Shine Car Wash Mobile App (“App”), you (“you” or “your”) are agreeing with Royal Shine Car Wash  and the owner/operator of Royal Shine Car Wash(“Operator”) to the following terms and conditions (“Agreement”):

  • You are making a purchase and registering for a Royal Shine Car Wash Unlimited Car Wash Club Subscription (“Subscription”), which is an automatic and recurring monthly subscription for unlimited car washes at a selected car wash level (i.e., Royal, Ultimate or Premium). Entering a promotional code will also register you for an automatic and recurring monthly Subscription once the promotional period expires.
  • You will be charged a monthly Subscription fee based on the Wash Plan you have selected (“Subscription Fee”). The Subscription Fee will be an automatic and recurring monthly charge to your billing card. The Subscription Fee will be charged on the date you activate your Subscription, or if you subscribed using a promotional code, from the date the promotional period expires. The Subscription will automatically renew every month and the Subscription Fee will be charged to your billing card each month on the renewal date.
  • You may deactivate your Subscription through the App any time and continue to wash through the Subscription end date. To deactivate by email or phone, please contact the Operator. If deactivating by email or phone, please allow a minimum of five business days, prior to the next renewal, to effectively deactivate your Subscription. Once deactivated, your billing card will no longer be charged the Subscription Fee.
  • There are no refunds for lack of use during the subscription term or for partial months. To request a refund for any reason, you must contact the Operator within 45 days of your monthly subscription charge. Refunds will be granted or denied at the sole discretion of the Operator and Royal Shine Car Wash.  Promotional Subscriptions must be deactivated prior to the monthly renewal in order to prevent an automatic renewal and avoid a charge.
  • You may change your contact and billing information through the App at any time. It is your responsibility to provide and maintain a valid email address and phone number in the App to receive any changes or updates to the Subscription or this agreement.
  • In the event Royal Shine Car Wash is unable to receive payment from you for reasons such as card expiration, non-sufficient funds, or change in information, your Subscription will be halted immediately, and you will not be able to wash your vehicle. If Royal Shine Car Wash is able to collect payment for your Subscription within 10 days after being halted, your Subscription will continue with your current Subscription renewal schedule. If Royal Shine Car Wash is not able to collect payment for your Subscription after 10 days from the halted date, your Subscription will be automatically deactivated. If your Subscription, it must be reactivated at the current retail pricing.
  • The Operator of Royal Shine Car Wash reserves the right to close due to inclement weather, major holidays, equipment maintenance, wash site enhancements, or force majeure.
  • Royal Shine Car Wash may increase monthly rates on 30 days advance notice by either the Operator posting at the car wash site or Royal Shine Car Wash sending notice to the email you have on file in the App.
  • Royal Shine Car Wash reserves the right to change the payment amount to include tax at any time, or to reflect tax law changes.
  • Each Subscription is intended for a single vehicle only. Fraudulent use of a Subscription will result in immediate termination of the Subscription. Multiple Subscriptions may be included in the same App account and billed to the same card.
  • This Agreement is subject to change without notice.

Pay Per Wash User Agreement

By using the Royal Shine Car Wash Mobile App (“App”), you (“you” or “your”) are agreeing with Royal Shine Car Wash (“Royal Shine Car Wash”) and the owner/operator of  Royal Shine Car Wash you visit (“Operator”) to the following terms and conditions (“Agreement”):

  • You are registering for a Royal Shine Car Wash Pay Per Wash account (“Account”), which uses license plate recognition technology to allow you to wash your vehicle without swiping a credit card or handing cash to a cashier each time.

The billing card on file in your Account will be charged for every car wash you purchase. A car wash is purchased at the wash level you have selected on the App when a vehicle registered to your Account enters the wash lanes and the gate recognizes your vehicle.  You may add multiple vehicles to your Account. You may select a different wash level in the App at any time, however, it may take up to 5 minutes for your selection to become active.  Until that time, you will receive the wash level previously selected.

  • Please review posted wash prices prior to entering the wash lanes. By entering the wash lanes and allowing your car to be recognized using license plate recognition technology, you are agreeing to pay the price of the car wash posted for the wash level you have selected on the App.
  • The Operator of Royal Shine Car Wash reserves the right to close due to inclement weather, major holidays, equipment maintenance, wash site enhancements, or force majeure.
  • You may change your contact and billing information through the App at any time. It is your responsibility to provide and maintain a valid email address and phone number in the App to receive any changes or updates to the Subscription or this agreement.
  • In the event Royal Shine Car Wash is unable to receive payment from you for reasons such as card expiration, non-sufficient funds, or change in information, your Account will be placed on hold, and you will not be able to wash your vehicle.
  • You may upgrade to a Royal Shine Car Wash Unlimited Car Wash Club Subscription at any time. Please note that once you subscribe, your card will be charged for the monthly cost of the subscription you have purchased. Please see Monthly Subscriber Terms and Conditions for more information.
  • Pay Per Wash access via your Account may be available.  Please contact Royal Shine Car Wash for participation details.
  • You may not use a gift card to purchase a wash if you are a Pay Per Wash user.
  • You agree to allow Royal Shine Car Wash and the Operator to recognize and log your license plate number, and to collect, store, and use the personal information obtained through this App and your use of Royal Shine Car Wash in accordance with the Privacy Policy of Royal Shine Car Wash.

Warranties Disclaimed by Royal Shine Car Wash

Royal Shine Car Wash expressly disclaims any warranties or responsibility for any claims relative to the Gift Card Program, except to the extent published by Royal Shine Car Wash or made in writing by an authorized Royal Shine Car Wash representative. Consumers utilizing the Royal Shine Car Wash website to purchase Gift Cards expressly agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations including without limitation, Federal, State and local laws and regulations governing intellectual property, commerce and postal regulations. Royal Shine Car Wash expressly reserves the right to cancel or modify any Gift Card order that is not fully in compliance with these Terms and Conditions, and Royal Shine Car Wash disclaims all liability for or relating to any such cancelled or modified Gift Card order.

ROYAL SHINE CAR WASH MAKES NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WITH RESPECT TO GIFT CARDS, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. IN THE EVENT A GIFT CARD IS NON-FUNCTIONAL, THE SOLE REMEDY, AND ROYAL SHINE CAR WASH’S SOLE LIABILITY, WILL BE THE REPLACEMENT OF SUCH THE CARD. CERTAIN STATE LAWS DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF CERTAIN DAMAGES. IF THESE LAWS APPLY, SOME OR ALL OF THE ABOVE DISCLAIMERS, EXCLUSIONS, OR LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU, AND YOU MAY HAVE ADDITIONAL RIGHTS.
